BBMP consults legal cell over Idgah Maidan row in Karnataka
BBMP is reviewing the applications of right-wing outfits that sought permission to hold multiple events at Idgah Maidan in Chamarajpet and sent them to its legal cell. Right-wing organisations had sought to hold International Yoga Day, Independence Day and Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav events at the venue, claiming the maidan was BBMP property.
