April heat in March: Nearly 40°C in Delhi
Delhiites are getting the feel of April-like heat in March this year. The Safdarjung station on Sunday recorded the season's highest maximum temperature of 38.3 degrees Celsius, a gaping eight degrees above normal, while the mercury almost touched 40 at Pitampura and Sports Complex in east Delhi, both reporting 39.9 degrees.
