Alumni urge CM Thackeray to rescue JJ, get deemed varsity tag
Alumni from JJ School of Arts and Architecture, including some of chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s contemporaries, have opposed the government’s plan to convert the institute into a state university despite securing the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) nod for a deemed status.
