29 child labourers found in utensil units in Delhi
A Class V dropout, Raju was learning to polish steel utensils and lived with workers in the factory. Raju was among the 29 child labourers rescued on Thursday from the Wazirpur Industrial Area in west Delhi in a joint operation led by the sub-divisional magistrate with the Bachpan Bachao Andolan. The rescuers found that Raju’s salary is still to be paid by his employer.
